NOTICE OF ELECTION OF TRUSTEES
OF RECLAMATION DISTRICT NO. 1000
TO ALL LANDOWNERS OR LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES OF LANDOWNERS OF RECLAMATION DISTRICT NO. 1000:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a general election will be held in Reclamation District No. 1000 on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, for the purpose of electing four (4) trustees to serve on the Board of Trustees of the District. The election will be conducted in accordance with Division 15 of the California Water Code. Each position to be elected has been designated as a Land Assessment Seat under Water Code 50780.4.
Landowners and legal representative landowners in RD 1000 are eligible to vote in District elections. Consistent with California Executive Order N-64-20 and in light of the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, each eligible voter will be provided a mailed ballot complete with return postage.
Ballots should be returned to the District office at 1633 Garden Hwy, Sacramento, CA 95833, no later than 7 pm on November 3, 2020. For voters requiring additional assistance, the District will provide in-person polling at the District office from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on November 3, 2020.
