Paul Devereux is a seasoned civil engineering and flood management professional with more than four decades of experience in California water resources, flood control, and public infrastructure. After serving for many years as General Manager of Reclamation District 1000, where he led the operation and maintenance of the Natomas Basin's critical flood protection system,  he now serves as Project Manager (Retired Annuitant), continuing to provide strategic guidance and institutional expertise to the District. Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Devereux has played a key role in advancing flood risk reduction, infrastructure resilience, and regional water management efforts, helping protect communities and critical assets throughout the Sacramento region.
