Jeff has served on the Reclamation District 1000 Board of Trustees since November of 2008.
He moved to the Natomas Basin in 2002 where he lives with his wife and teenage daughter.
Having grown up on a farm, Jeff has a great appreciation for farming and was drawn to the balance of farming and urban areas in the Natomas community. A Civil Engineer, with an emphasis on water resources planning and design, Jeff has a specific interest in drainage, levees and other water-related issues of the Natomas Basin. Those interests and his professional credentials led to his nomination and subsequent election to the Reclamation District 1000 Board of Trustees. With his engineering expertise, Jeff brings a technical perspective to the board.
Jeff has had a stellar career in the Engineering field for over 30 years and has had an opportunity to travel to every continent except Antarctica for work.
He holds a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree in Agricultural Engineering from Oregon State University and a Masters in Management from Southern Oregon University.
Jeff enjoys building projects, playing golf and as a recently licensed pilot, he is occasionally found flying over the Natomas Basin in small Cessna planes.

Reclamation District 1000 is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Reclamation District 1000
